To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
5+ years of professional development experience.
Strong proficiency with JavaScript.
Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks and libraries such as Express, Lodash, Socket, etc.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs.
Development experience in React, Node and various databases.
Building reusable components and server side libraries for future use.
Familiar with code versioning tools such as Git.
Experience collaborating with designers on vision, execution and translating designs and wireframe into high quality code.
Ensures all code has been unit tested prior to QA & Production environment.
Adheres to development best practices that have been established by the organization.
Writes documentation supporting the implementation of the solution.
Proven ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work related experience.
